Munchkin Android

Munchkin Android is a proof of concept project that I started in November 2010. The goal of the project is to develop a small scale Android application that is JUnit testable. This application is an experiment in using the Model View Presenter(MVP) design methodology in Android. This MVP design is well documented by Google as a very efficient way of creating GWT applications. I figured since it worked for GWT it should work for Android. Currently the source is closed as I attempt to get the right patterns and methods setup. I will be adding more features to the application and documenting how any changes have to be done as the project matures.

All Bugs or Feature requests should be entered here. The source for the project can be found here

For those confused about the current screens here is a quick breakdown:
Here is a quick list of features I'm looking to implement:
  1. Summary Screen (On location to view/modify important pieces)
  2. Party Communication (Getting information about others using the app)
  3. Character Statistics (Max level achieved, Max power achieved, Highest monster defeated, number of monster defeated)

Summary Screen
This screen gives you an overall view of your character and allows for some quick modifications. You can quick add gear or change levels on this screen.

Gear Screen

This screen is reached by pressing edit on the summary screen. It gives a list of all the gear that has been entered. You can edit or remove gear as needed.

Fight Screen
This screen is reached by pressing fight on the summary screen. It's rather complicated but allows for the tracking of a complicated fight if needed. The players base fight score is entered at the top and a place to track modifiers is provided. Additionally you can set the monsters score by tapping on it's box in the space below. You can then track any additional changes to it's score as the fight evolves.

A simple 1-6 dice is provided on each screen. It can be rolled by pressing menu and selecting dice.
